So I haven't been good at keeping this blog updated and even on this post my pics got all out of order. Anyways, there isn't really any christmas pics on here....I have way too many to post. So I did post all of them on my facebook page...so feel free to check them out there. There are two albums..one for christmas in loogootee and the other was from christmas day. I'm good to update this about once a month. I just can't find the time. I'm not snapping pics all the time like I did when Mason was little. I'd rather be on the floor playing with them! They are getting so big and I can't believe Christmas has come and gone and we only have 5 days left of 2009!!

Eating Baby Food

So little Molly has been eating baby food for almost a month now. AND...she loves it! First we tried green beans...loved...then sweet potatoes...loved..carrots..loved...peas...NOT SO MUCH. She only ate a little bit before she started gagging and spitting them back out, so we decided no more peas. LOL. Then we tried squash and she loved it! She eats the whole container now b/c she is a little piggy. I think the rolls on her legs get more massive every day. LOL.

She is growing so fast. Its hard to believe she will be 6 months on the 1st. She is such a happy baby. Always smiling and laughing. She rolls over quite a bit now, only from belly to back. I don't think she could get from back to belly b/c her belly is so big! She is holding a lot of toys now and is really interested in them. We've been working with her to sit up b/c she is still pretty unsteady.

Mason has really warmed up to her in the last couple of weeks. I think he is realizing she isn't going anywhere. LOL. He gives her kisses and rubs her head. It is so cute to watch. Of course she is just all smiles whenever he is around. I can tell she loves him!

3 Months

Well little Molly isn't so little anymore. She is 3 months old now and at her checkup she weighed 13lbs 13oz and was 24 1/4 inches long. She rolled over for the first time last Saturday. She hasn't done it since but I witnessed it and I did not help in any way so I know she did it!! LOL! I just can't believe how fast time is going and big she is getting.

Update on Moo Moo

Well I thought I would give a little update on Molly Moo Moo b/c she is getting so big so fast. Moo Moo is a nickname we have given her almost from birth b/c she LOVES to eat and she is such a little chunk. She is like clock work, every 3 hours if you don't have a bottle ready, she is screaming! LOL. She is now 10 weeks, and at her 2 month checkup she weighed 11lbs 12oz and was 22 3/4 inches long. She has been gaining 2 lbs every month! Like I said, Moo Moo!! She is always so happy, grinning and cooing. She loves to be talked to. Just in the past few days, she has started to laugh. It's so cute. It's not a full blown laugh yet, but we can tell that is what she is doing. She likes the swing better every day and she will sit in her bouncy longer. She is in size 2 diapers b/c her belly is so big and she has lots of rolls!! It won't be long and she will have to move into 3-6 mo clothing.

She loves Mason, she lights up when he gets in her face. He loves her too, but he still likes to swat her head and here recently he thinks she should play catch with him. So he will throw a ball, but not so she can catch but instead, he throws it at her head!! LOL. They are something.

Molly has been sleeping in her own room for 2 weeks now and she sleeps all night which is fabulous. She has actually been sleeping all night since she was 6 weeks old. I'm very lucky b/c Mason who is 2 no longer sleeps through the night! He did until we brought Molly home. Oh well, that too will get better.

Molly Mae Has Arrived!!

Well little Molly has finally arrived. She was born on Monday, June 1st at 8:49am. She was 8lbs 8oz and 20 inches long! Big girl!! We were supposed to be induced today, June 4th, but apparently she had other plans. We had all went to bed on Sunday night around 11pm and I was dozing in and out while Kevin was watching softball and touching my belly. Well he woke me up around midnight telling me I was having contractions! I couldn't believe I wasn't feeling anything. Well we decided to call the doctor around 12:48am and she told us to monitor it for an hour and call back if they were stronger. I had lost my plug earlier in the day so we knew something could happen at any time. Well during that hour, the contractions were pretty strong and about 7-10 minutes apart. We called back and she said to come on in, especially b/c we now live 40 minutes from the hospital so no one wanted to take any chances. At this point, she was so low, that I was literally going to the bathroom every 5 minutes. We ended up leaving our house at about 215am and of course we barely made it to Kirklin 5 minutes away when we had to stop at Kevin's parents so I could use the bathroom. At this point I was determined to hold it the rest of way. Well Kevin decides he's going to drive 90 the rest of the way and we made it to the hospital by 245am.

We get checked in and taken to triage where they start monitoring my contractions and it was determined I was 4 cm and 50% effaced, so I was staying. Plus my contractions were 3 minutes apart at this point. We get in our new room in Labor and Delivery and I get my epidural and shortly after my doctor breaks my water. Well after about an hour and a half I was only dilated to 5 so they decided to start some pitocin. Again after an hour or so I was 6cm. Slowly I was getting there. Well I began to have horrible lower back pain. I was starting to feel the contractions in my lower abdomen and around my left side into the back. It was AWFUL. So they called back the epidural man and he gave me a second dose. Well apparently he went to fast or gave me too much at once and my blood pressure bottomed out and Molly's heart rate fell to 40. All at once everyone was scrambling around, they called an emergency code, I was flipped to my left side and had oxygen. I had no clue what was happening.

Molly's heart rate came right back up but I had to stay on my left side until I started pushing. They ended up stopping the pitocin, but I was still feeling the contractions. They again gave me another does of the epidural and it STILL did not work and finally he gave me a dose of fentanyl. And finally there was relief! I was so numb I couldn't even tell them that I had pressure and needed to push. We started pushing at 820am and by 849am she was here!

She is so beautiful and we are all excited she is finally here. Mason has done really well with her so far. We are just glad to be home and hopefully can get a routine started.

The Day Before Molly was Born....

Bed Rest It is..............

So by the time noon rolled around on Wednesday, it was the longest I have ever been pregnant. I'm really starting to get nervous as is Kevin b/c from now on it's new territory. None of us know what to really expect from here on out. We went to the doctor yesterday and I was 37 weeks and 2 days. I didn't feel real well so I knew something was probably going to happen. Well of course when we get to the doctor's office, my doctor is running behind which rarely ever happens. I go back get weighed, and actually lost 3 lbs from the week before which is probably even more unlikely and then they take the infamous blood pressure. My blood pressure has always been an issue. It's what caused me to be induced at 37 weeks with Mason and it has been an issue this time around as well but early on rather than later. Well yesterday it was 172/88. Which is not good. But the good news was that I didn't have any protein in my urine and I had lost weight. So Dr. Gates was kind of baffled why my bp was high. So he immediately said, "Bed Rest". He said I probably wasn't pre-eclamptic, but he was sending me to the hospital lab to have blood work done and if anything came back abnormal I was to be admitted. He thinks that my bp was automatically shooting up whenever I got up and moved around, so bed rest it is. Thank god, my blood work came back normal and everything is ok. I was only dialated 1 cm so from now on I'm only supposed to get up to go to the bathroom, get something to eat or take a shower.

Let me just to tell you that it SUCKS! I hate just sitting around especially when I don't FEEL that bad and I think I should be doing something. So now instead of going to the doctor once a week, I now have to go twice a week. So my next appointment is Tuesday. Hopefully we can keep Molly happy a little while longer! I've been saying for a week or two now that I'm just ready to be done. But after yesterday and knowing it could really be anytime, I'm NOT ready. LOL. I guess it's really out of my hands at this point.

I'll keep everyone posted as things progress. It's crazy to think we are finally getting to the end!

I haven't washed any clothes or bedding and crap is just thrown all over the place. It's the only room in the house that isn't finished, but we will get there. I just now got through going through some of Mason's baby clothes and my cousin's little girl's baby clothes and now they need to be washed. Let's just say that this little girl will ALWAYS have something to wear. I thought Mason had a lot of clothes as a baby but I think Molly has already put him to shame! But, what do you expect? She is a girl!!!

Well it's Mother's Day and we have officially been in our new house for 8 days. We are finally getting settled and it's starting to look like a home. We really love it here. Mason is finally starting to sleep most of the night. We had issues the last few weeks at the apartment. He decided he was going to start crawling out of his crib so we bought him a toddler bed. Well he didn't want to sleep it in and when he did, it was never for more than 2 hours at a time. He spent a lot of time in our bed which I never wanted to do, but when you need sleep you will do anything. Well needless to say we are selling the toddler bed b/c he still refused to sleep in it in the new house and he started sleeping in the spare bed. So now the spare bed is his new bed and we have to get a new bed for the spare. Whatever works!!! I didn't think it would be this hard transitioning and of course everytime I ask people if they had trouble, they were always like, oh no it was an easy move. Of course it was!!! Anyways, we are getting there and right now Mason only wakes up usually once a night sometimes twice. But the new issue that is occurring is now that he's in his own bed, once it's daylight, he's awake. Which lately is 645 am! How fun for us! Oh well.

We are also getting ready for Mason's 2nd birthday which is Saturday, May 16th. It is crazy how fast another year has went.

Apparently the technician said she had her eye open and that is what the arrow is pointing at. Of course you couldn't really tell b/c as usual she was snuggled in the placenta.

I am 29 Weeks and 3 Days today and it is unbelievable how fast time is going. I finally got Molly's bedding ordered this weekend and I'm looking forward to being able to decorate a nursery now that we will have a house and she will have her own room. Things are going pretty good....my feet has started swelling already and I think everyday I wake up bigger, but I guess that just means she is growing!

New House

FINALLY!!! Something has worked in our favor. This is our new house. It is in Michigantown which is a few minutes north of Kirklin right across the street from Kevin's high school. It is the house we originally put ours on the market for and it was still for sale, so we decided it was meant to be. It's a great house and I think we will be very happy there. The inspection went really well so everything is a go. We will probably be moving at the end of April. So thank God we will be settled before little Miss Molly decides to make an appearance!

We had a 3D/4D Ultrasound done on Friday to meet little Molly. It is so amazing what you can see. She was breach at this point so the technician had a little trouble getting good face pictures but as you can see she has got some really chubby cheeks! We did the same thing when Mason was 34 weeks and we can already tell that they do not look that similar. The technician also couldn't get the DVD to record so we get to go back for a free session when I am 31 weeks. We are very excited and cannot wait until she is really here!

Too Good to Be True

Well I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything...so I thought I'd better get caught up. A lot has been going on in our family and not all of it good. Some things are just too good to be true here lately. We sold our house and THOUGHT we had found the perfect house. Everything was falling into place. Well...let's just start with the fact that we are NOT buying the house that is posted below. We had the inspection and found so many high dollar items needed fixing and for the price we were paying...we couldn't afford to fix it and didn't really want to either...and the seller's didn't want to fix them, so we said thanks...but no thanks. So that left us with no where to go. We are closing on our house in Fishers today and were supposed to be in the new house on the 20th. What were we going to do? We had no where to store our stuff...no where to stay. All of this happened on my birthday no less. Then we had the appraisal on our house. Did you think that could've went our way? NO! Of course not. Why would we have any good luck in all of this process. So we had to lower the price on our house and take more of hit than we did in the beginning. Anyway....our house is sold and we were packing...but still had no where to go.

We finally found an apartment that we could lease short-term and was reasonable. Finally some good news. We moved in over this past weekend. It's a great apartment in a great area in Carmel. Mason has adjusted really well...the only bad thing about the apartment is that it is on the 3rd floor. The bigger I get, the harder it gets going up all those stairs. So now, we are back in the house hunting process. It's just really frustrating b/c little Molly will be here in June and who knows if we will be in a house by then.

At least we are back to having some sort of normalcy. Mason is growing like a weed and the terrible two's are getting closer and closer. He is getting quite good at throwing a tantrum. I'll try to post some pictures of the little guy soon. As for Molly....she is growing too. I think my belly gets bigger every day. We go back to the doctor on the 19th for my blood sugar test and a checkup. I'll be 28 weeks at that point. It's crazy to think how fast this is all going.

Well we finally sold our house!! Initially we had no where to go, but we finally found a house in Kirklin and after a week of negotiating, we have a new house! I don't have any pictures of the new house, but it's a 2-story with a basement on 2.6 acres out in the country. I think we will love it there and it's got plenty of room which is exactly what we need. Now we just have to pack all of our crap, which we have a ton of, b/c we move out on March 13 and move into the new house on March 20. We are super excited!!

GIRL!!!! Can you believe it!?!?! We are so excited! Of course we would have been just as excited about a boy, but to know the odds we were up against, we are just thrilled. This will be the FIRST little girl on the Boone side. Kevin is one of four boys and his older brother has three boys, so you know this little princess is going to be spoiled rotten!! Everything looked great, she measured right on schedule and they told us she was about 10 oz at this point.

Kevin, Mason and I would like to introduce everyone to little Molly Mae. She was quite the mover for our ultrasound, putting on a show. She had the hiccups the entire time which was so cute. She stuck her tongue out a few times and the whole time she was laying with one hand behind her head like she was relaxing in the sun. It was just too cute.

This was another cute thing Molly was doing. She had her legs crossed! She was just totally relaxing and hanging out. Ultrasounds are just so amazing!!

I finally caught Mason perched on the present long enough to take his picture. He did it on two different occasions. You can't really tell, but his butt is wider than the present. Who knows how it is comfortable. Oh and to top it all off, it is a present for me!!!

Update...14 weeks 4 days

It's been so long since we've posted and we didn't have very many new pictures, so I figured I would write a little to update. We went to the doctor this past Friday and I was 14 weeks 2 days. Everything went well, I didn't gain a pound which I was pumped about! I never did that with Mason, I gained everytime. My blood pressure was a little high, but we think it was b/c I was excited about the weight issue. Dr. Gates was our doctor this week, and he is great. He found the heartbeat pretty quickly, but it was still really low but really fast. If you are wondering why I said he was our doctor this week, I go to an OB office that has 5 doctors and you have to see everyone once and then you can pick your favorites after that. This is the same place I went with Mason, so I already know my favorites, but I follow the rules anyways. I have seen 3 of the 5 so far. There are 3 women and 2 men and Kevin and I both actually like both men better than all the women. One of the men, Dr. Leone is who delivered Mason and actually Dr. Gates delivered my cousin's little girl this past May. We go back on January 16 for an ultrasound and appointment. I will be 19 weeks at that point, so we will get to determine what our little one will be!! We are very excited and cannot believe how fast time is going.

In other news, Kevin is finished with the current semester of school, he got A's in both of his classes. We are just glad he is finished for a few weeks. Our house is still for sale, but at this point we are not really worried about it. My friend Kristen and I had our annual Christmas baking day yesterday and it was exhausting! We made so many goodies, I don't know how they are going to get eaten. Martha and Bret also came down to help and we sent a bunch of stuff home with them too. I'm pretty tired today still, but I have more Christmas shopping to do today so I will be busy with that. The only person left I have to buy for is Kevin, and he is the hardest by far!!! Everyone needs to cross their fingers that I do well this year!!

We put up our Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving. Mason has done pretty well with it, he does like to touch it a lot, but at least he doesn't bother the presents. Although there is one under there that he likes to sit on. We have been trying to get a picture of him perched on this present for days now and we have not been lucky. It is so cute too, b/c the present isn't even as wide as his little bottom!! He is too funny.

A few weeks ago, Kevin and I went to Jenn and Andy's Wedding. Kevin used to work with Jenn in the ICU. Of course as you can see, Kevin is the only male with all of his ICU co-workers. We had a really good time!

Boone Family Addition

I figured it was time to update everyone on the Boone Family and all our exciting news. We will be adding a new addition to our family June 10, 2009! Mason will be a big brother. We've tried explaining it, but I don't think he gets it. I'm only 9 weeks and 3 days, but I've known for about 4 weeks. We went to the doctor when I was 6 weeks and we seen the little dot with a heartbeat. It is so exciting. I would post a picture of the ultrasound, but it literally is just a dot. I've not been feeling the greatest this time around. I have good days and bad days. It's definitely not like the first time. With Mason, I would maybe feel a little nauseas in the morning and then be fine the rest of the day. Now when I don't feel well, it's all day long. It sucks.

Plus, I know they say the 2nd time you show quicker, but dang I'm already wearing maternity pants. It's depressing, but I have no control I suppose. I go back to the doctor next Friday, I'll be 10 weeks. It's crazy how fast time is going already. June will be here before we all know it.

In other news, our house is still for sale. We have had quite a few showings, but everyone says it's too small for them. Which I understand, that is one of the reasons we are trying to get of here. Oh well, things will happen when they are supposed to.

Kevin is almost finished with another semester of school. It's crazy to think that Christmas is less than 2 months away! It will be exciting with Mason this year b/c I think he will understand a little better than last year.

Well I guess that is all that is going on in our life. We are not very exciting. Mason still loves his Spongebob and thank god the child is finally drinking milk! He is really starting to pork out. Anyways, until next time. Everyone take care!

Mason has this new thing where he will turn on his fish tank in his bed, then run to find his blanket and run back to his room and get in the rocking chair. It doesn't matter if it is daylight or nighttime, if you can't find him, he is probably back in his room hanging out listening to music. It is so cute!

Mason was all ready to go trick or treating. But it was not the experience Kevin or I was hoping for. He screamed and threw a fit the whole time. We only went to a couple of houses, Kevin's aunt and grandma's and I don't know, he just didn't want any part of it. I think mainly it was b/c he doesn't really know them yet, b/c he is so young and he doesn't remember people well or what, but it was awful to say the least. He loved being at Mammaw Martha's and eating candy and stuff and he didn't even mind wearing the costume, but he didn't like going anwhere else. Let's just hope next year is much better!

Mason's Haircut

We got Mason's haircut for the second time last night. You would have thought we were awful parents, b/c from the moment we sat him in this little car, he screamed bloody murder until the lady was finished. I totally give the lady credit though, he was in the chair at 6:30pm and we were back in the car at 6:40. She was really great and his haircut is really cute. He totally looks like a little man!
