Here are a couple of pics from a 3D/4D ultrasound that we had today. Isnt he adorable sucking his little finger and peeking at us! He will be here soon! We are sooo excited to meet our little Mason and be able to hold and adore him!
Doesnt look like he is going to need any new clothes for a few weeks or months!!!
Sorry we have not updated the blog in a few months, but we will try to do better. Here is a picture of April in the 35th week of pregnancy. Mason is almost here! Nursery pics and Mason pics coming soon....
Well here are the effects of the Blizzard of 2007. It started snowing late Monday night and didn't stop until early Wednesday morning. We have about 13-15 inches of snow with snow drifts everywhere. As you can see our mailbox is almost completely covered. The first couple of pictures is of the front yard and the last two are of the back yard. Not only did we get tons of snow but there were a few hours were we got nothing but sleet with wind gusts of about 30 mph. It truly was awful up here. Most counties are still under snow emergencies today.
Not only are schools closed but county and city offices and other businesses have closed b/c they are still telling people to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Rush hour on Tuesdsay night showed maybe 5 cars on the Interstate. It truly was a sight to see. Our dog can barely go outside, the snow completely covers his legs and part of his belly. Us here in the Boone house are over the snow, we hope we don't get anymore but supposedly it is supposed to snow again on Saturday! How fun for us!!!
You can't really tell how deep the snow is here in the back, but it is high enough that you can barely see the road behind our house. These were taken about 5:30 pm on Tuesday and it was sleeting at this time, so just imagine 5-6 more inches on top of what you already see!
This is Mason's crib, changing table, and dresser. It is solid wood and cherry in color. The walls are painted two different colors of green separated by a white chair rail. 'Patchwork Winnie the Pooh' is going to be the theme of the nursery, as you can see in the valance.
We are still in need of a glider and ottoman, but we will get one shortly. You want to come and see the nursery? Everyone is more than welcome!
