Well I figured it was time to actually write something about our family instead of just posting all the cute pictures of litte Mason. Too bad he really isn't little anymore. He's into anything and everything. This morning I caught him eating a piece of toast out of the trash! Yes, I said trash! So gross, who knows what else was in there but apparently he thought he needed to eat that. It's little things like that that make me laugh. He's really into opening and shutting doors which is really annoying to his dad, especially this morning when he was still trying to sleep. He's also into screaming which is annoying to everyone, but sometimes Mason feels the need to scream as he is "trying" to run through the house. Poor little man, he tries so hard to run, but he just hasn't figured it out yet. Too funny! Spongebob is still big in our home. Mason loves his Spongebob and believe it or not that was one of his first words! Kevin and I and I think even Martha, get a little sick of watching Spongebob everyday all day. It does make him smile though and that is all that matters!
It's now the end of August and it's crazy to think how fast time is going. Mason is 15 months old now and has such a personality. Kevin has now begun his 3rd semester of school. I don't think May 2010 can come any faster for any of us. That is his graduation date and hopefully he will get through ok. This semester he has to write his thesis which I do not envy him at all! For those that do not know, Kevin is completing his Masters Degree to become a Nurse Practioner.
Kevin now works Saturday, Sunday and Mondays that way his mom, Martha can still watch Mason on Mondays and Tuesdays because she watches the other Boone boys (Kaleb, Conner and Brady) on Wednesday-Friday. It works out well for us.
I still work Monday-Thursday as an Auditor for the State Board of Accounts. It's super nice to have a 3-day weekend every week. Although the older Mason gets, the more I wish I was just a stay at home mom!
We are still in the process of looking for a new house. We aren't sure where we want to move, but we both know we need to get out of our small house and out of Fishers. It is a nice place, but it is too congested and to be honest we both like the Carmel and Westfield areas much more. I guess we will have to wait and see what we find!
I'll keep everyone posted on the new happenings in the Boone family as they happen!!!
